阅读，遇见更好的自己——中国-东盟艺术学院国际部举办“国际中文日”线上读书会
Reading, Meet a Better you- 'International Chinese Language Day' online reading session held by the International Department of College of Chinese& ASEAN Arts
暮春晚风起，习习百谷生，浅吟灯花落，琅琅伴良辰。
2022年4月22日，为响应中外语言交流合作中心的倡议，共迎2022年“国际中文日”。成都大学中国-东盟艺术学院国际部举办了一场题为“阅读，遇见更好的自己”的线上读书会。活动特别邀请了国际部的数位汉语教师和各国留学生代表为全球中文学习者推荐好书，分享自己的阅读心得。
On April 22, 2022, in response to the initiative of the Center for Language Education and Cooperation, and embracing the International Chinese Language Day, the International Department of College of Chinese& ASEAN Arts held an online reading session called 'Reading, Meet a Better You'. The event specially invited several Chinese teachers from the International Department and representatives of international students to recommend good books to Chinese learners around the world and share their reading experience.
为筹备此次读书会，选书时老师们可谓几番思量，既要考虑对中文学习者而言的可读性，也要考虑内容对中国文化的体现度。最终国际部的中文老师们为各阶段的中文学习者精心挑选了包括《麻辣汉语》、《半小时漫画中国史》、《打开故宫》等十余本好书。在荐书环节中，老师们对书中的精彩情节如数家珍，还和大家聊起了自己当时阅读的趣事，让人不由得感叹，阅读真是记录生活的最浪漫的方式。来自越南、泰国、印度尼西亚的留学生也为大家推荐了他们喜爱的书籍。来自泰国的张思萱同学推荐了《长腿叔叔》这本书，她说这本书里的故事轻松有趣，又充满悬念，闲暇时读一读总能给她轻松愉悦的阅读体验。
In order to prepare for this reading session, the teachers thought over when selecting books, not only considering the readability for Chinese learners, but also the reflection of the content on Chinese culture. In the end, the Chinese teachers of the International Department carefully selected more than ten good books for Chinese learners at all stages, including When Chinese Goes Wrong, Half-Hour Cartoon History of China, and Opening the Forbidden City. In the book recommendation part, the teachers were familiar with the wonderful plots in the books, and they also chatted with everyone about the interesting things during their reading, which made people think that reading is really the most romantic way to record life. International students from Vietnam, Thailand, and Indonesia also recommended their favorite books. Zhang Sixuan, a student from Thailand, recommended the book Daddy Long Legs. She said that the story in this book was easy-reading, interesting, and suspensive. Reading it in her spare time could always make her relaxed and pleasant.
除了荐书，老师们还和同学们交流了不少关于阅读的方法和建议。李双梅老师推荐《如何阅读一本书》时特别讲到了阅读不同的书要用不同的方法，而根据书的目录选择性阅读可以极大地帮助我们获得有价值的信息。冯宇冰老师也讲到要学会给自己营造安静的读书环境，这样才能让我们更好地沉浸于书本之中，从而获得滋养。吴加培则用一本故宫立体书带大家“云游”了一番故宫，让不少同学大开眼界。
In addition to recommending books, the teachers also exchanged a lot of methods and suggestions on reading. When teacher Li Shuangmei recommended How to Read a Book, he specifically mentioned that different books should be read in different ways, and selective reading according to the book's content can greatly help us obtain valuable information. Teacher Feng Yubing also talked about learning to create a quiet reading environment for ourselves, so that we can be better immersed in books and thus be nourished. Wu Jiapei used Forbidden City, a three-dimensional book, to take everyone on a "tour" of the Forbidden City, which opened the eyes of many students.
活动最后，老师们还给大家推荐了购买纸质书和电子书的渠道，方便大家获取感兴趣的书籍。同时也向所有的中文学习者送出了寄语，希望这些书能为同学们打开一个多姿多彩的中文世界，祝愿大家能在书中遇见更好的自己。
At the end of the activity, the teachers also recommended channels for buying paper books and e-books, so that everyone can get books out of interest. At the same time, they sent a message to all Chinese learners, hoping that these books can open up a colorful Chinese world for the students, and everyone can meet a better self in the books
